Space Intimacy challenges the public to abandon their own personal borders by being fully immersed in somebody else’s mind.
When: 18th Jan 2017 from 10am to 11.30am
Where: Meet in the Tate Taylor Digital Studio in the Tate Britain
What: Please join us for a planning Tate exchange project meet-up to explore the topic of personal boundaries, followed by introduction and discussion about the on-going project.
Topics of discussion: The perception of privates lives on Internet, the virtual personas we are and how we curate these, the non-boundaries between our privacy and shared data, etc.
- How do we curate our virtual personas?
- Have we lost our private lives to the internet?
- Do we have a false perception of privacy since the rise in data sharing?
- Social networks were brought about to connect us, but in reality are they creating solitude?
The outcome will be part of the Virtually Real Environments workshop on March 22, 2017 at Tate Modern. We would like to invite members of the collective and the general public to contribute and join on our next development process with details to the sounds and visuals.
